NFL officials have released a statement after fans at the Cincinnati Bengals game complained that seats at Paycor Stadium were covered with snow.
Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle BJ Hill was injured during the first quarter of the team's NFL Week 15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Paycor Stadium. Hill remained down on the field after the Ravens' first offensive play of the game. Hill was involved in a tackle of Ravens running back Derrick Henry.
Many of the fans arriving for Sunday’s Ravens-Bengals game found their seats covered with snow. League rules require all snow to be removed by the home team. The Bengals admitted that the seats hadn’t been cleared. The NFL has provided a comment in response to an inquiry from PFT.
The Bengals have come under fire for not clearing snow off of the seats of Paycor Stadium on Sunday prior to the team’s 24-0 loss to the Ravens. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio noted that the team may have violated an NFL rule for stadium standards by not properly clearing off the seats.
The order is determined by record, using strength of schedule as the first tiebreaker. If the NFL season ended now, the Bengals would have the ninth overall pick in the 2026 draft.
