Opening Day 2025 was one for the books with blue skies and fresh snow - however it didn't come without it's share of challenges. As a result of the recent storms we experienced downed trees on the mountain and a small issue on the Madden Chair, which led to a delayed opening on the upper mountain. ⛷Opening Day December 27, 2025!🏂 Winter finally made an appearance in Tahoe over the holidays, delivering over 3 feet on the upper mountain here at Homewood. This is just the boost we needed from Mother Nature to kick off the winter season. Madden Chair will be open with access to most difficult terrain only.
