We think it’s about doing it alone; in reality, autonomy is defined as doing the things that come from the authentic place within YOU. Autonomy is about acting in alignment with your true self. Obviously, this is a task that requires taking responsibility, since you’re the one with access to that self — but it never requires that you do it on your own.
